It’s August 2016 and I’d been told that my bathroom in Notting Hill had such chronic mould the contractors thought we’d actually bridged a portal to the ‘Upside Down’ (not a ‘Stranger Things’ fan? 8/10, Netflix). My task, find a new shower head for the flat. Light work, they said.

As I headed to North London, thinking that was far enough the shame of the situation would never catch up with me, I met Fiorenza, who was working as a shop assistant in a hardware store. It was love at first sight. I decided immediately to contact her on social media (not Tinder, thanks), but I didn’t hear back from her for 6 months (fair enough, my pic was on the profile).

It was only after a few weeks spent messaging each other that we finally meet on her birthday, 9th April 2017 and that was the beginning of our beautiful story.

We would like to thank that fateful shower head for having helped us built something that will last forever.
We are very happy to have come such a long way in our lives and we can’t wait to spend our wedding day with all of you, our families and our dearest friends.
